Ed Speleers

Ed Speleers is set to star in Ecosse Films’ LOVE BITE with Timothy Spall, Kierston Wareing, Jessica Szohr, and Luke Pasqualino.

Directed by Andy De Emmony and produced by Ecosse Films (WUTHERING HEIGHTS, NOWHERE BOY, BRIDESHEAD REVISITED) and WestEnd Films (TAMARA DREWE), the film is set to shoot in Autumn 2011.

Robert Bernstein and Douglas Rae of Ecosse Films (The Water Horse, Becoming Jane, Wuthering Heights) and Paul Ritchie (co-producer, Slumdog Millionaire) are producing in association with Notting Hill Films.

Ed is repped by Sally Long-Innes at Independent Talent, Jennifer Rawlings at WME, and Matthew Hobbs at Firefly.

Julian Gilbey‘s A LONELY PLACE TO DIE starring Ed Speleers, Melissa George, Sean Harris, and Eamonn Walker plays to a packed Screen 1 audience at Empire Cinema, Leicester Square London – as Film4′s FrightFest’s closing night film.

“A group of five mountaineers are hiking and climbing in the Scottish Highlands when they discover a young Serbian girl buried in a small chamber in the wilderness. They become caught up in a terrifying game of cat and mouse with the kidnappers as they try to get the girl to safety.”

The film is set for release in the UK on September 7; and in the US in November 2011.

Both Julian and Ed are repped by Matthew Hobbs @ Firefly.

The film stars Melissa George, Ed Speleers, Sean Harris and Eamonn Walker.

Max Befort has signed with Abby Bluestone and Sheila Wenzel at Innovative Artists for US representation.

Innovative Artists’ clients include Amanda Seyfried, Channing Tatum, Ashley Greene and Kellan Lutz.

Max’s credits include projects for Constantin Film (producers of Paul WS Anderson’s “The Three Musketeers”, “Resident Evil”, ‘Fantastic 4″ etc) and top European broadcasters including ZDF.

Max’s most recent film, ROMEOS, is set for its North American release in late 2011.

ActionFest has awarded Julian Gilbey best director and best film for his forthcoming feature A LONELY PLACE TO DIE.

The film beat out competition including “13 Assassins” (official selection at Venice, Toronto, and SXSW) and “Ironclad”.

The film stars Melissa George, Firefly’s Ed Speleers, Sean Harris and Eamonn Walker.
